Lá na nGlanacháin

Ná Scrios an Ríocht!!
Bhí an-lá againn ar an Aoine ag glanadh an dúthaigh. Fuaireamar go leor málaí caite thar na sceacha, agus bruscar timpeall na háite. Anois tá an áit go hálainn glan! Tá sé mar aidhm againn an scoil a choimeád mar seo!

Chuireamar naoi gcrainn freisin a fuaireamar ón gComhairle Contae! Míle buíochas do ghach duine a chabhraigh linn an lá a dhéanamh chomh speisialta!

On Friday, April 19th, S.N. Cillín Liath took part in the National Spring Clean this year as part of our work in the Green School’s Programme. We conducted a clean-up of the school and surrounding area with parents, members of the community and the Rural Social Scheme.  We also planted nine trees that were generously donated by Kerry County Council.

National Spring Clean is Ireland’s most popular, well recognised and successful anti-litter initiative. Now in its 15th year, the campaign encourages every sector of society to actively participate and take responsibility for litter, by actually conducting clean-ups in their own local environment. National Spring Clean traditionally takes place throughout the month of April.
